The bridge you won't be able to jump (or see) from

The City of San Francisco has determined that bridges are hazardous to your health. That's right. Hazardous. Never mind the obvious health benefits of walking or biking over one of the most beautiful bays on earth at about 200 feet above the water, under the maroon painted trestles, staring out at the ocean. OK, if you're biking you also need to check for oncoming traffic, which is frequent! But anyways, the rumor is true: the City is indeed planning to build a suicice barrier (see Ordinance Number 050362) to keep YOU - the public - from enjoying one of the world's greatest views! Why? Because of misplaced public guilt over some suicidal people who want to use the bridge to "make their mark"! Or perhaps they are doing a big CYBCOL? (Covering Your Butts in Case Of Lawsuit) So why not just LOCK the gate at night? And post a sign -

"Jumping from 200 feet above water has been determined to lead to CERTAIN DEATH. The City of San Francisco and State of California bears no responsibility!"
